Home Visiting Services Account

Thrive by Five Washington is a key partner in building the statewide home visiting system and jointly administers the Home Visiting Services Account (HVSA) with DEL.

The HVSA was established by the Washington state legislature in 2010. Read Sections 614(13) and 933 of the budget proviso.

This account helps fund and evaluate home visiting programs and leverages state dollars by providing private dollars as a match. The account also helps build and maintain the training, quality improvement and evaluation infrastructure needed for effective statewide home visiting services.
