The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) updated its Food Worker Manual, effective May 1, 2013. The Department of Early Learning (DEL) filed emergency rules on May 2 for child care centers (WAC 170-297-7680) and school-age programs (WAC 170-295-3190), requiring providers to follow the most current edition of the Food Worker Manual. The emergency rules went into effect on May 2.
