Federal law for Head Start programs
Head Start is a federally funded preschool program that offers comprehensive education, health, nutrition, and other services for children and families with lower incomes. In 2007, the United States Congress reauthorized the Head Start program with the "Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007."
