DEL child care subsidy rules
The Department of Early Learning (DEL) adopts regulations (also known as rules, Washington Administrative Code, or WAC) for programs that help parents pay for child care. The Working Connections Child Care (WCCC) and Seasonal Child Care (SCC) programs provide state-paid child care subsidies to eligible families while the parents work or attend approved training or education.
Revised WCCC and SCC program rules are in WAC 170-290.* The revised rules are effective on December 1, 2009.
SCC rules in WAC 170-292 are repealed as of December 1, 2009. SCC rules are moved into WAC 170-290, Part III.
To learn more about the final adoption of the revised rules, visit DEL Rules Under Development.
* Note – DEL is making an unofficial version of the final child care subsidy rules available until the official WAC web site is updated. Until this update, the old WCCC and repealed SCC rules will continue to appear on the official WAC 170 web site.
