Resource and referral work with child care providers
The Washington State Child Care Resource & Referral Network and local resource and referral agencies work to support licensed child care providers in a number of ways:
- Professional development, training and onsite consultation opportunities
- Informative newsletters
- Technical assistance by phone
- Connections to other community resources and child care provider networks
In addition, the R & R Network administers the Washington Scholarships for Child Care Professionals which helps early childhood professionals pay for a college education through community and technical colleges in early childhood education, or pay for Child Development Associates (C.D.A.) credential application fees.
