Washington Regional Afterschool Project
In partnership with the Department of Early Learning (DEL), School’s Out oversees the Washington Regional Afterschool Project, or WRAP. WRAP is a collaborative partnership to increase the quality and availability of programs for school-age children and youth in Washington. School’s Out works with five other organizations to link communities with resources. WRAP provides professional development opportunities for program staff, and broadens involvement in planning for regional youth services and building a system of afterschool care.
Partner organizations in WRAP are:
- Spokane Public Schools – Spokane
- Volunteers of America – Western Washington - Everett
- Washington State University Extension – Benton/Franklin counties
- Washington State University Extension – Grant/Adams counties
- Washington State University Extension – Puyallup
