Ordering DEL Publications

The Department of Early Learning (DEL) offers materials and resources to help families and caregivers support healthy child development. For information about ordering a publication, please e-mail communications@del.wa.gov.

The following is a list of publications currently available for ordering. If the publication you’re looking for isn’t listed here, it is only available online.

Window decals are available by contacting your local DEL office.
Child Care Center Licensing Guidebook
Hard copies of the Child Care Center Licensing Guidebook are available for purchase through the Department of Printing (PRT). To order, visit the General Store and create a user name. From there, select "Shop by Agency" and choose "Department of Early Learning." The guidebook is in the "Licensing" category. The guidebook is also available in CD format upon request. E-mail communications@del.wa.gov to order a copy on CD.
Licensed Child Care in Washington State: A Guide for Child Care Providers
An easy-to-read booklet with information about: how to get licensed, how DEL staff work with licensed providers, rights and responsibilities as a licensed provider, resources to support providers as business owners, and state laws and rules about licensed child cares.
Washington State Early Learning and Development Benchmarks
A guide to young children's learning and development: from birth to kindergarten entry. Note: At this time, DEL has distributed all our copies of the Benchmarks. More copies will be available after a review of the document is finished. You can still print copies online using the links below.
